With Democratic Party Nazi Graham Platner finally dropping out of the race for Senate in Maine, the liberal ladies of ABC’s The View thought the Democrats could pat themselves on the back. During Thursday’s episode, they defended how long it took Democrats to turn on Platner and engaged in some electioneering as they urged their Democratic Party to find someone who matched Platner’s platform.
Despite it taking around 10 months for Democrats to reject Platner after his Nazi tattoo first became public knowledge, co-host Joy Behar praised the development and falsely compared Justice Brett Kavanaugh to Platner. Meanwhile, co-host Sunny Hostin wanted to play with whataboutism:
BEHAR: But at least the Democrats are dumping him. Whereas, Susan Collins was one of the major votes to put Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court and he also had allegations exactly like this. If I recall correctly. Am I wrong?
