Qatari mediators reportedly presented a new peace plan to end the war with the U.S. and Israel, but an Iranian official is disputing that it was a new plan. The proposal sets a seven-day timeline for addressing concerns from Tehran and Washington, while laying out daily confidence-building steps that each side must take, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed official who isn’t from Iran.
A senior Iranian official involved with talks said Qatar had presented only “unacceptable ideas and not an offer.”
Tehran’s position on showing no flexibility on nuclear issues remained unchanged, the official said.
