An Iowa House committee has canceled a hearing on legislation that would recognize human life beginning at conception and ban abortions.
One bill, House File 2332, described in connection with affirming life at conception and the equal dignity of every human being from the earliest stages of development, saw its subcommittee hearing canceled.
