    President Trump is sending Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to assist TSA employees, who have been working without pay during a partial government shutdown over a Congressional funding impasse.

    Absences among Transportation Security Administration workers, who have gone without paychecks for the last five weeks, have led to long security lines and disruptions at major U.S. airports according to a DHS spokesperson, who told NBC News that more than 3,250 employees—or 11.51 percent—called in sick over the weekend.
