A large group of pro-Palestinian protesters took over the inside of the Hart Senate Office Building as part of a demonstration against the United States shipping weapons to Israel to aid in its war effort against radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas in the Gaza region.
Footage was captured of the demonstrators shoving through Capitol Police to gain entrance to the lobby of the building where they began chanting “Free Palestine” and other slogans like “No more money for Israel’s crimes.” Many of those involved in the protest were seen sporting red t-shirts that said, “STOP ARMING ISRAEL.” Local law enforcement ended up arresting 44 protesters inside the building for illegal protesting.
