The Trump administration announced on October 9th its welcome decision to impose severe financial sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) institution itself. There will be a grace period of six months before these sanctions take full effect. This action follows a series of sanctions and visa bans that the Trump administration had previously imposed on ICC judges and prosecutors.
