Study finds pesticide exposure associated with higher risk of motor neuron disease
A meta-analysis published in Occupational and Environmental Medicine found that occupational exposure to pesticides is associated with a higher risk of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a form of motor neuron disease, according to researchers. The analysis included data from more than 2,000 people with ALS or another type of motor neuron disease, the study reported.
