While the country focused on the first-ever midterm Republican National Convention (RNC) last Wednesday, just ten miles away, prominent figures on the right debated the party’s future.
FORUM, a premier policy debate platform for the American right, held its event at the Rayleigh Underground on the first day of the midterm convention. The idea was not to compete with the GOP convention, but rather to allow a more robust debate about topics that will affect the midterm elections and beyond by “putting the most influential voices on one stage, in substantive argument,” according to the group’s website.
