President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he was driving up through Texas to Oklahoma after bad weather prevented him from flying. He was traveling there for a Republican rally. While there was talk of postponing the event, Trump insisted on arriving on time in his limousine known as “The Beast.”
“‘The Beast’ is going faster than it has ever gone before. It won’t be long. I love you all! See you in a little while,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
Los Angeles Times Washington Correspondent Ana Ceballos, who was traveling with the White House press pool, confirmed the president’s motorcade was traveling at 98 mph on its way to Oklahoma.
