A whole lot should get done in 100 days.
But an executive’s first 100 days are the rock-bottom worst to focus on. Legislators are nearly as far away as they ever are from being incentivized to please voters. And the executive is just hiring and getting people started, so he has less to recommend than he should have at any later time.
