    Leading London litigator, Dan Morrison, says the devil is always in the detail.  This was never more so than when reviewing internal bank documents late one evening. Buried in the minutes of Coutts’ “reputational risk committee” was evidence that would prove his client’s case: Nigel Farage’s banking accounts had been terminated not for legitimate banking reasons, but because his political views were deemed “at odds with our position as an inclusive organisation.”

    “I recently acted for Nigel Farage MP (2024/2025) in his case against Coutts/NatWest; the so-called ‘debanking scandal,’” Morrison explained. “In short, the banks sought to debank Nigel because his political views did not align with the bank’s DEI Woke agenda.”
