Seinfeld was a fairly apolitical show. (Although any show from that era would be considered suspiciously apolitical today.)
Jerry Seinfeld flew out to Israel after Oct 7 to support the victims of that attack. In response, Islamic and Marxist activists have spent years harassing him and lying about him only for Seinfeld to breezily mock them and dismiss them. Seinfeld co-creator Larry David had spent that time awkwardly getting politics by promoting Democrats and bashing Republicans. Curb Your Enthusiasm ended on an even more awkward note than the Seinfeld note by trying some election interference based on a fundamental misunderstanding of election law.
