Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plans to spend up to $20 million to purchase electric shock gloves for law enforcement officers and agents, according to an upcoming contract.
The listing was shared on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Acquisition Planning Forecast System Monday and shows that ICE has been required to purchase CTG-5 Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter, or G.L.O.V.E., which was described as a “Conductive Distraction and De-escalation Device.”
