Google announced Saturday that it started to update its Maps service to display the name of Lake Ontario, following President Trump’s executive order, to “Lake America.”Trump signed the executive order last week to rename the lake, which lies between Ontario, Canada’s most populous province, and New York state.
The move followed his earlier threat to make the change as trade relations between the two historically close allies grew increasingly strained.
