St. Lucie County, Florida, officials discovered 14 Flock license-plate reader cameras that the county had not permitted, according to county spokesperson Erick Gill. The discovery came as the county prepared to remove 52 Flock cameras it had already planned to take down from county roads, officials said [17].
Removal notices were posted at the cameras, giving those responsible 30 days to remove them, Gill said. Depending on when the notices were posted, the deadlines fall between Oct. 16 and Oct. 20, added Gill [1].
