Enes Freedom says Chicago Sky guard made crude remark before he was ejected for WNBA game

Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom says Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud made a crude remark at him before he was removed from an arena Sunday during the WNBA game.Freedom said that he was holding his hands up in celebration after Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham “shot a three,” when Cloud started screaming that Cunningham wasn’t going to have sex with him. 
“And I was like, ‘I am not trying to sleep with her. I’m just here to protect women and support her.’ And then, obviously, after that she started yapping, and she started to walk towards me, and literally I just got up, and then I was like, ‘I’m just here to protect women, and that’s all,'” Freedom told Outkick. 
Freedom was wearing a T-shirt that declared the definition of a woman as being an adult human female, and he said he believes that contributed to Cloud’s reaction. 
He declared for the 2027 WNBA draft earlier this month in what appears to be an attempt to challenge league rules about transgender players. 
Cunningham said in an ESPN story in July, “I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”
Under WNBA policy, only women are eligible to play. No transgender player is known to be competing in the Womens National Basketball League, WNBA. And the league does not have a specific policy on the matter, according to The Hill newspaper.
