Utah Republican Gov. Spencer Cox, in a Dec. 2025 CNN interview, praised Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as potential presidential material, joking that governors make the “best presidents” because they need to “accomplish stuff” on nonpartisan issues like potholes. Controversially, he argued that states serve as “laboratories of democracy” where people “vote with their feet,” and lauded Shapiro’s economic reforms, including streamlining and regulatory cuts, as “red state stuff.” Cox emphasized bipartisan governance amid discussions of political violence, noting that he hopes a Republican wins in 2028 but values effective leaders across parties. Starting off his divisive comments, the RINO…

In another annoying move from the woke left, a far-left Democrat representative, Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI), moved to impeach Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Wednesday, December 10, claiming that he has “failed” in his role at HHS and thus must be removed from it. Announcing the move in a press release, the woke congresswoman’s office promulgated a statement saying, “Today, Michigan Congresswoman Haley Stevens formally introduced Articles of Impeachment against Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), citing his dangerous actions that have endangered public health and gutted lifesaving medical research.”…
A panel composed of three federal judges handed down a ruling in favor of the Department of War that will allow the Pentagon’s ban on transgender service members to stay in place as the litigation process moves forward. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit stated in its decision that a ruling from March 2025 from U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes that blocked the ban “afforded insufficient deference to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s judgment.” Judges Gregory Katsas and Neomi Rao wrote the majority opinion that overturned the block on the ban, pointing out that the U.S. military has…
In a press release of absolutely titanic importance that came out on Wednesday, December 10, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released data showing that the Trump Administration has, in its first ~11 months of being in power, managed to get over two and a half million illegal aliens to leave the country. While 2.5 million is just a drop in the bucket compared to the tens of millions of illegal aliens suspected by many of being in the country, it is still a good start, and a huge success compared ot the generally lackluster efforts of past administrations, and…
Oklahoma lawmakers, driven by threats from China, passed SB 212 in 2023 to restrict Chinese ownership. However, a 2024 exemption shields Smithfield, a U.S. pork giant controlling 23% of the market and 2,575 acres in Oklahoma. However, despite these concerns, critics warn of xenophobia, and Smithfield denies any national security risks are posed by its operation. However, defenders of the new law assure the public that these changes are much needed to protect our food supply and are supported by the Constitution. Additionally, officials have indicated that the pork producer will need to undergo restructuring. Announcing the change, Arkansas Gov.…
A new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll shows President Trump’s approval rebounding to 47%, up 3 points from November’s 44% low after the government shutdown. Voters split 50-50 on whether the economy is better under Trump than under Biden, and whether his policies strengthen the nation’s finances. However, Republicans lead decisively on economic trust, 55% vs. Democrats’ 45%, +6 from November. Amid affordability concerns Democrats have weaponized to attack Trump, the poll signals GOP momentum in the 2026 midterms, with 62% crediting Republicans for “winning” the shutdown and 68% approving its resolution—potentially disastrous for Democrats defending seats. Offering much-needed context, Mark Penn,…
In a 222-200 vote on Dec. 10, 2025, 13 House Republicans defected from GOP leadership to join all Democrats in advancing Rep. Jared Golden’s (D-Maine) Protect America’s Workforce Act. The bill, forced through a discharge petition, repeals Trump’s March 2025 executive order that stripped collective bargaining rights from ~1 million federal workers. Aimed at protecting veterans and national security staff, many of whom are unionized, it managed to face down real Republicans in the House and make it through with final passage in that chamber on Thursday, and is now headed to the Senate, where it faces hurdles but could…

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) sharply rebuked a reporter during a tense exchange on Tuesday after she referred to cartel-linked drug-running vessels as “fishing boats,” prompting a pointed response centered on presidential authority and the fentanyl crisis impacting American communities, as reported by The Gateway Pundit. The exchange, filmed by Caden Olson, a congressional reporter for the Daily Caller News Foundation, occurred as Schmitt was questioned about recent federal actions involving maritime enforcement and national security. The reporter began by drawing a comparison between the seizure of an oil tanker and actions taken against cartel vessels. Trump’s Sovereign Wealth Fund: What…

Journalists always warn us of the far right, but where on earth is the far left? When journalists are puffing socialists like Zohran Mamdani, they show where they belong on the ideological spectrum. If they tagged Ilhan Omar or AOC as “far left,” our jaws would drop. MRC Director of Media Analysis Geoff Dickens and PBS analyst Clay Waters joined the show. Clay’s latest study of labeling over a year on the PBS News Hour found “far right” terms are 11 times more likely to be applied than “far left” terms. That’s because PBS is on the far left, so…

President Donald J. Trump expressed his disappointment with Indiana GOP Senate leader Rod Bray after Hoosier State Republicans sank an effort to redraw congressional maps to give their party two more House seats before next year’s critical midterm elections. On Thursday, Bray and his gang of turncoats joined their Democrat friends to sink a Trump-backed redistricting bill 31-19, with 21 members of the majority party voting “no” in a major blow to efforts to offset blue state gerrymandering that could flip the House back to Democrats who are chafing at the bit to impeach the president and top members of…
By Vijay Jayaraj The collapse of the Paris Agreement and the unmasking of the net zero illusion were never hard to predict for anyone with a shred of intellectual honesty. It didn’t take a fancy research title or an advanced degree. The writing was carved deep into the stone of energy reality, which no press release, no activist lobby and no billionaire-backed foundation could erase. Most nations – particularly those early in building their futures – offered only empty nods to climate targets. Their participation was a transparent quest for political leverage. The climate crusade survived by hijacking the political…

https://nypost.com/2025/12/10/opinion/insurance-companies-are-making-record-profits-off-climate-change-panic-not-facts/ By Roger Pielke Jr. The headlines are relentless, loudly proclaiming that climate-fueled extreme weather has caused an insurance crisis, reflected in dramatic rate increases for homeowners and businesses. Some warn that total economic collapse may soon follow. But as is often the case when it comes to apocalyptic warnings related to climate change, real-world data don’t support the narrative. In reality, the insurance industry, which provides coverage related to hurricanes, fires and other extreme events, is enjoying a streak of record profits. Defenders of high premiums say it’s because it’s much more expensive to insure homes because of climate change. But the…
