The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Tuesday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had arrested a set of criminal illegal aliens with prior convictions for drug trafficking and sexual offenses.The latest roundup of five illegal aliens with prior criminal convictions is part of the agency’s efforts to deport as many as 22 million illegal aliens, with an emphasis on the “worst of the worst” criminals. Estimates have suggested that as many as 3 million foreign-born persons of varying legal statuses have left the country since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.
“Every day, the men and women of ICE are risking their lives to arrest and remove illegal aliens from our communities. Yesterday, ICE arrested pedophiles, sexual predators, drug traffickers, and other dangerous criminals,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said. “President Trump has made it clear: Illegal aliens are NOT welcome in our nation. If you’re in America illegally, we will hunt you down, arrest you, and send you back to where you came from.”
Topping the Tuesday roundup was Jawwad Ali Ahmed of Pakistan, who was convicted for lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.
Alexandre Esdras Pandolfi-Soares of Brazil was convicted of forcible sexual abuse.
