Prime Minister Mark Carney prepared for the possibility that U.S. President Donald Trump could order a military invasion of Canada, according to a new report.
In an interview with the New York Times published Wednesday, Carney described the prospect of an invasion as an “extreme tail risk,” meaning impactful though unlikely, but said it would be “irresponsible” not to prepare.
