In case you were on Pluto, the Democrats have won the midterms, the Republicans have lost, and the American people can now look forward to something we sorely need: more hearings. The Democrats, in particular, have distinguished themselves in the past by being sore losers, with protesters setting fire to cars, rioting, destroying businesses, and having fat filmmakers rush around in a panic because their candidate lost. Now they have taken it to the next level by also becoming sore winners.
Robert Garcia’s election-night message to the opposition was “Lawyer up.” Senator Ron Wyden announced, “Subpoenas.” Senator Ed Markey joked about needing new forests to print them. And this is only part of their inspiring agenda.
