Presumably far-left vandals of the sort who have been protesting in favor of algae since Trump started cleaning up the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool have been targeting the National Mall in a number of ways this summer as a way of trying to humiliate and embarrass President Donald Trump by causing chaos.
For example, vandals have, according to Fox News Digital and the Interior Department, left “8647” markings, a call to assassinate the president, across Washington, D.C., and they have damaged the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool by ripping up the lining and writing an “8647” message in blood on the Washington Monument.
