Turning Point USA on Thursday holds the first day of its first America Fest since the assassination of its former leader, Charlie Kirk, earlier this year. Kirk is remembered for his staunch Christian faith and for founding the conservative grassroots organization Turning Point USA. He was assassinated in September and was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in a ceremony in October.
The late founder’s widow, Erika Kirk, has since taken over her husband’s company and promised in September that she would continue his legacy and host “America Fest” in Phoenix.
Speakers at the multi-day event include Vice President JD Vance, Steve Bannon, Erika Kirk, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, first son Donald Trump Jr. and House Speaker Mike Johnson.
The festival will run from Thursday, Dec. 18 through Sunday, Dec. 21.
The first day can be viewed here.
