ER Editor: With two new cats, we’re wrestling with this food problem, too. Our cats simply don’t care for the processed food in cans and packets. They prefer it fresh. Who’da thunk it?! And the conventional vets advising us insist we feed them only veterinarian-approved food. As vet Dr. Nick Thomson points out below, they’re not lying. They’re just captured by the industry that provides them with their training and overall sponsorship.
Researching raw and home-cooked fresh pet foods was enlightening for readers’ comments, who frequently pointed out their animal’s poor health improved once they stopped the dry kibble, for example.
