Vice President JD Vance said President Trump could release the text of a preliminary agreement with Iran before Friday, when U.S. officials expect the memorandum of understanding to be formally signed in Geneva and a new round of negotiations on a final peace deal to begin in Switzerland.
The disclosure came as Vance made the rounds on multiple networks, Fox News, NBC, and CNN, filling in details on a document he described as “about a page and a half” and “very general.” Senior U.S. officials said the agreement had already been signed electronically by Trump, Vance, and Iranian parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the BBC reported.
