    US Pledges $1.8 Billion in Additional Funding for UN Humanitarian Aid

    The United States has pledged to contribute $1.8 billion toward the United Nations’ humanitarian aid pooled funds, the U.S. State Department said on May 14.

    This will add to the $2 billion announced in December 2025, bringing total U.S. support for humanitarian funds administered by the U.N.
