The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is launching an advertising campaign in Ohio to promote federal tax cuts and encourage voters to push lawmakers to enact economic policies that help families and small businesses. The campaign, scheduled to debut Saturday during college football game day, features Republican Sen. Jon Husted, who voted for the Working Families Tax Cuts Act. The initiative highlights tax provisions that the Chamber said are providing financial relief to Ohio households and creating opportunities for workers and businesses.
The advertisement uses a football-themed message to promote several tax benefits, including the elimination of federal taxes on tips and overtime, a child tax credit of up to $2,200 per child and a 20% deduction for eligible small businesses.
