    The United States government on Friday banned lawful permanent residents from entering the U.S. from the Democratic Republic of ‌Congo, Uganda or South Sudan due to Ebola concerns.The ban covers those returning from travel during the previous 21 days.
    U.S. citizens, nationals and green card holders were previously exempt from a 30-day ban, ​but Reuters reported that the CDC decided to extend the ban to green card holders to stop the virus from entering the country.
