President Donald Trump revealed a new immigration proposal on September 9 that would protect all of the work his administration has done to end the illegal immigration crisis, seal up the border, and deport illegal aliens from the country by stopping future presidents from reversing his policies. Trump gave an address at the GOP midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, where he unveiled the “No Invasion of Our Country Act.”
The proposed legislation is designed to place new legal limits on a future president’s ability to loosen border enforcement through the use of executive action. “We will make it legally impossible for any future president to destroy our country by having the right to open the border again,” Trump went on to say.
