President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening gloated over Florida Democratic Senate candidate Alex Vindman’s upset loss to state Sen. Angie Nixon, D-Fla.Polling had heavily favored Vindman, and Nixon’s ultimate victory saw her take roughly 56% of the vote, marking yet another major polling error of the cycle. Vindman’s loss was even more stunning in light of a tremendous disparity in fundraising and Vindman’s plethora of mainstream support.
“SleazeBag Vindman loses tonight to a Radical Left Lunatic. How cool is that???” Trump posted on Truth Social.
Vindman’s loss is a personal win for Trump as the Democrat was the leading whistleblower in his first impeachment. His brother, Eugene Vindman, D-Va., recently won election to Congress.
