President Donald Trump appeared to gloat over Rep. Ralph Norman’s, R-S.C., defeat in the South Carolina Republican primary runoff on Tuesday evening.”Ralph Norman had the look of a good Congressman (Not great, but good), but ruined his career when he endorsed Nikki Haley,” he posted on Truth Social.
Norman backed Haley, a fellow South Carolinian, in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
Trump, in turn, supported Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., in the runoff against Norman. She narrowly won the contest on Tuesday evening.
