    The Trump administration has in recent months rolled out a series of actions to address the long-brewing existential crisis facing America’s family farmers and ranchers, who for years have been pummeled by industry consolidation and rising costs, as well as regulatory, environmental, and trade issues.Traditionally the backbone of American agriculture, family operations are disappearing, shrinking by more than 17 percent since 2017.
