Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has made a significant statement this week, announcing he will never again seek elected office.
On Wednesday, during an interview with MS NOW, Walz firmly stated his intention to step away from running for any political position, while declining to comment on rumors of a potential appointment to Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s U.S. Senate seat if she wins the governor’s race; additionally, Klobuchar confirmed her gubernatorial bid on Thursday, following Walz’s decision on January 5 to end his reelection campaign.
