(CN) — In September, Captains Dustin Kidd and Marc Crutcher embarked on a challenge that has become increasingly popular — and increasingly controversial.
They planned to boat the Great Loop, a collection of mostly inland waterways that coils through the East Coast and Midwest with extended routes into Canada and the Bahamas.
