Three ships, including one linked to Iran, pass through Strait of Hormuz since U.S. started blockade

Since President Donald Trump announced a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, three ships have passed through the strait. On the first full day of the blockade, Reuters reported, two U.S.-sanctioned ships passed through the strait. A third Iran-linked vessel entered the Gulf of Oman, headed to the Hamriyah port in the United Arab Emirates. 
All three ships were not headed to Iranian ports and therefore aren’t covered by the blockade. One of the U.S.-sanctioned ships was carrying methanol and owned by Shanghai Xuanrun Shipping Co Ltd. The other sanctioned ship was headed to Iraq carrying Russian and Iranian oil.
