You kinda sorta knew there would be ripple effects from the invasion of what has now been reported to be 72,000 North Africans into the tiny Spanish exclave of Ceuta last week. Not only were Europeans living in countries with their own out-of-control immigration issues watching in horrified fascination what was happening on the African coast, but they were also frightened at the thought of how much of that human flood would be headed their way. Any portion of it would be adding to the already intolerable situation experienced by many members of the European Union, thanks to the rampant and unfettered immigration of the past, exacerbated by the illogical and insane restrictions on deportations and repatriation of the present.
