There are a lot of ways to describe what this proposed Massachusetts bill is, but I don’t think ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)’ is precisely what I would use, as some other major outlets are. I think it’s much too sinister for a thoroughly discredited, despicable concept that’s hopefully in its death throes while being relentlessly driven from business, academia, and government at all levels.
