There is a saying that “a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.” In other words, false information can spread much faster than hard facts, and sometimes, by the time the most accurate details or corrections are shared, the wrong story has already reached many people and caused great confusion.
There is absolutely no question in my mind that the Israel-haters rely on this dictum to support their war against the Jewish state.
