Much of the civilized world and all civilized people are reeling in righteous anger at the murder of Henry Nowak, the 18-year-old British college student who was by all accounts a kind, good, hardworking young man with a bright future and who was savagely and senselessly stabbed by Vickrum Digwa, a Sikh Indian who falsely accused Nowak of a racist attack.
On December 3, 2025, Digwa stabbed Nowak five times, two stab wounds to the back of his legs, one wound to his face, and a fatal stab wound to his chest that pierced his heart. As he lay dying, telling the police nine times that he couldn’t breathe and that he had been stabbed, Nowak was handcuffed and told by the police officer, “I don’t think you have [been stabbed], mate.”
