Jeffrey Epstein himself is only the most recent of the cartoon villains meant to taint President Trump by mere association, however tenuous, to the point of impeachment. Or worse. But he has been preceded by others, beginning with Vladimir Putin, whom the popular culture has long attempted to portray as stand-ins for the president.
