A former political candidate who ran campaigns for both state and federal races in Arizona was arrested for an alleged disturbance that happened in an area of the state known as the Valley. Brianna Westbrook, 41, was taken into police custody on July 10, 2026, after her former partner called local law enforcement following an incident that took place at a residence in the city of Phoenix.
The individual who reported Westbrook spoke with the cops and said that she allegedly “pushed her way” into the home while in possession of a knife and duct tape. The two allegedly wrestled with each other until Westbrook managed to push the other individual involved in the situation onto a couch. The victim in the assault screamed and asked Westbrook “to stop” before the suspect eventually took off running.
