Support for Trump using military force in Iran up slightly from February: poll

A new poll shows that more Americans have an opinion on the war in Iran, and the percentage that supports Trump using military force in Iran grew more than that of those who oppose it. However, a majority of Americans still oppose the use of military force and think deploying it was a mistake. A new Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll of 2,560 U.S. adults conducted April 24-28 found that only 20% had no opinion. A greater percentage, 56%, still oppose the war more than support it. But the percentage of those supporting military force rose by four percentage points, to 24%, compared to the two percentage-point increase of those opposing it. 
A Feb. 17 poll by the same polling group found that 20% of U.S. adults opposed President Trump using force, compared to 54% who opposed it, and 26% had no opinion or skipped the question. 
The new poll also found that 61% of adults think the use of military force in Iran was a mistake, while 36% think it was the right decision. The margin has a margin of error of 2.2 percentage points.
