A study presented at Digestive Disease Week 2026 found that adults with healthier sleep patterns had lower risks for several types of cancer, according to researchers. The analysis, which drew on data from 472,105 participants in the UK Biobank, also identified a set of 303 blood proteins that formed a distinct “sleep proteomic score” linked to the observed risk reductions.
