Study Finds Association Between ADHD and Higher Rates of Gastrointestinal Symptoms
Researchers at the University of Warwick found that people with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder were almost 50% more likely to experience gastrointestinal symptoms than those without the condition, after analyzing data from more than 1.9 million people across 23 studies, according to findings published in the Journal of Attention Disorders and released Sept. 11, 2026.
