    Study: 90–120 Minutes of Weekly Strength Training Linked to Lower Risk of Death

    A study based on three long-running U.S. cohorts of nearly 150,000 nurses and health professionals found that 90 to 120 minutes of weekly strength training was associated with a 13% lower risk of death from any cause, according to a report published by ScienceDaily on Aug. 9, 2026. The analysis drew on data collected over as many as 30 years from participants who reported their exercise habits every two years, the report stated. [1]
