Stephanie Grisham files restraining order against embattled GOP Rep. Max Miller

Former White House Communications Director Stephanie Grisham this week filed for a restraining order against Rep. Max Miller, R-Ohio, following a similar move by his ex-wife, Emily Moreno.Miller has faced a litany of abuse allegations, including claims that he held a gun to Moreno’s head and poured boiling water on her. He has denied wrongdoing. Grisham previously detailed an allegedly abusive relationship with an unnamed man in 2021, which she later revealed to be Miller.
Attorney Mark Zaid announced the restraining order on X, saying “Today we filed for a Temporary Restraining Order against Cong. Max Miller (R-OH) on behalf of former Trump Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham.”
Moreno has also filed a restraining order against Miller. He denies all wrongdoing and has asked the House Ethics Committee to investigate the allegations against him. Miller has also declined to drop out of the race.
Moreno’s father, Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, has said he should not serve in Congress.
