South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thursday it has decided to recall its ambassador to Ukraine, the latest escalation in a diplomatic dispute over Kyiv’s public disclosure of a transfer of two North Korean prisoners of war to the South.
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said it remains open to resuming constructive dialogue despite the recall.
