The Democrats have come a long way since Bill Clinton’s contention that abortion should be safe, legal and rare. Now, Sen Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats are actually arguing that anything except abortion is “horrific”.
The setting for this latest battle is the moms.gov site set up by the Trump administration to promote Trump accounts, Trump RX and provides nutrition and other resources for expecting mothers. One half of the first menu directs them to community health care centers and the other to pregnancy centers. Pregnancy centers are generally pro-life organizations that were set up to counter Planned Parenthood, they offer some basic pregnancy services, like ultrasounds and other testing for free, and they make the case for keeping the baby much as Planned Parenthood makes the case for killing the baby.
