U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon is calling for an end to the Biden-era Saving on Valuable Education (SAVE) program that offered debt cancellation on student loans to certain low income households.
McMahon called out the Biden administration for making “impossible promises to win points with voters” and said, “We must restore the principle that loans must be paid back,” adding, “That starts and ENDS with borrowers — not American taxpayers.”
