The South Seattle homeless encampment of drug addicts continues to grow. It’s now enormous, with people coming from long distances to live and do drugs in the sprawling encampment that covers public and private property for several acres. Someone is cutting down trees to continue the expansion.
Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson’s office is “exploring options,” “monitoring the site,” and “closely watching changing conditions” on the mega-drug encampment in Rainier Beach. They say it is a “low priority.” It has gone on for four years under feckless leadership.
