Bessent laid out the warning during a wide-ranging interview on the Just the News, No Noise television show, describing a coordinated federal effort that now spans the Treasury Department, the IRS, the FBI, the Department of Justice, and Congress. The message was blunt: the era of nonprofits operating “with impunity” is over.
